The Walk Beirut tour-guide, Ronnie, tells a wonderful and gripping tale of the past and present of Beirut. He dispels myths, reveals the city's hidden secrets, and as you walk with him among the many landmarks you can't help but feel that you are part of a unique experience. The tour incorporates the historical quarters of Beirut's many religious communities, the lingering reminders of Lebanon's Civil War (the Holiday Inn, the trenches, the Green Line, the Jewish quarter in downtown) and the architectural heritage of this great city. With more twists and turns than a Poirot novel, Ronnie's Walk Beirut sets the bar as the first groundbreaking and truly pioneering tours of Beirut that satisfies the urges of both Beirutis and tourists alike.

I loved the tour. Ronnie has an amazing way of telling stories. I really enjoyed it and I strongly recommend it to everyone. The 4 hours and 1/2 passed so quickly. I was hesitating before going, not sure if it would be interesting or not. It turned out to be an amazing tour. I loved it, great job. :)

First day back in work after our trip to Beirut and missing it like mad. Didn't really know what to expect of Beirutâ?¦.It was amazing and this walk is the best way to explore and discover it. We forgot to book the walk before we travelled and we were kicking ourselves & then saw the poster in 'Dany's bar' - Thanks Ronnie & Tom had an exhausting but great time. P.S. Just a tip :) put a phone number on your posters!!

PROBABLY THE BEST TOUR I HAVE EVER BEEN ON-DON'T MISS THIS!!! I visited Beirut for the first time in May and found out about this tour online. I was traveling by myself but I was so fascinated by the idea of a walking tour that tells the story of Beirut and I knew I had to go. I had a flight later that night but I had a feeling that I would not want to miss this experience and decided to go and then leave early-I'm so glad that I did what I could of the tour. This was one of the best tours I have ever been on, if not the best and I've traveled quite a bit. Rani is so informative, helpful, funny, sweet and has such pride in his country. His passion and storytelling are so captivating. He brings history to life. Walking down the streets with him, he will point out buildings that you might never notice and he can tell you why that is there, who put it there, how long ago it was put there, who wanted to tear it down, why they couldn't tear it down, and what will happen to it 50 years from now :) Then that building is not just a building, but maybe one of the most interesting buildings you have ever seen and you will never forget it:) He is the kind of person you can easily make friends with because he is so genuine and he wants to make sure that you enjoy your time. I returned to Beirut this month. Again, I had a flight that prevented me from completing the tour and there actually was not one scheduled for the day that I wanted to do it. His tour is so incredible, that I bought the 7 ticket minimum for only two people knowing that I could not even complete the tour. I am so fascinated by the history and enjoy his tour so much that I plan to take it everytime I go back to Beirut. I could not even imagine or want to go on a trip there without going on Rani's tour. I just wish there was a Rani in every city I visited :)
