Lebanese Cuisine Tasting Tour
Spend your late afternoon with us, as we take you on a specialized culinary and walking tour through Beirut's traditional quarters of Mar Mkhael, Gemmayze, Sursock, Saifi and Nijmeh Square.

Explore the narrow streets and stairwells of Achrafieh's Nabaa and hip Mar Mkhael district. Get a feel for the Armenian influence in the neighborhood, and stroll into the late-Ottoman early-French Mandate background of Jeitaoui and Gemmayze. Stop for an early dinner, and enjoy traditional Lebanese cuisine, in addition to Arabic coffee just up the St. Nicolas steps. Walk up the into the Sursock traditional quarter, where you'll see the mansion-turned-museum owned by the famed Sursock family. Cross into Saifi Village, and explore one of the newest-renovated neighborhoods of Beirut. Then walk into downtown Beirut, where you'll be treated to a blend of history and Lebanese pastry.
In Lebanese style, all entries will be shared among participants. The complete history of each dish (its recipe, its origins, where it's eaten, how it's made) will be explained throughout our walk. A pamphlet of what we eat and dish recipes will be provided at the beginning of the tour.
